The Schafberg can be scaled via numerous paths. Taking the SchafbergBahn is probably the most convenient way to get to the summit. The ride on the historic SchafbergBahn from St. Wolfgang to the 1783m Schafberg is a genuine adventure, and not just for children – the 360 degree panorama view to the Salzkammergut is impressive.
